Breaktide offers intensive services for those who have been unable to fit within the traditional mold of treatment or who may not be appropriate for residential treatment programs for a variety of reasons.
Do you, a loved one, or a client identify with any of the following circumstances?:
- Those who have experienced previous treatment episodes or programs as traumatic.
- Those who struggle with behaviors that make residential programs hesitant or unwilling to accept them (e.g. violence, self harm, disruptive in a milieu).
- Those who have been asked to leave or have habitually left programs prior to completing residential treatment.
- Those who have been to substance use treatment programs several times but continue to struggle with relapse.
Intensive services are built to a patient’s specific needs, the length of time can range from weeks to years. During intensives, patients live with members of the Breaktide coaching team, receive therapy from the clinical team, and the case and all providers are managed by seasoned clinicians with expertise in the area of concern.
Breaktide can collaborate with existing outside providers (e.g. psychiatrists, general practitioners, nutritionists, etc) or will assemble the right providers for needed services that fall outside of our scope of practice. Regardless of what team does or does not already exist, we ensure that the client has full wrap around support for any type of care they may need.
Services may be provided within the clients current home or at a location best suited for a clients needs including taking into consideration in-person access to our clinical team.
As symptoms improve the team will slowly and methodically reduce the intensity and frequency of treatment until you are ready to flourish on your own.
